V-KOOL products range from top-of-the-line Spectrally Selective clear
films to value-for-money hi-performing coatings that aim to meet your
needs. V-KOOL's spectrally selective coatings also enhance the

Training & Support
Support Centres
Franchisees are supported by the Regional Centres of V-KOOL International. Asia will be serviced out of Singapore headoffice, North America from Houston headoffice, Middle East out of Dubai Regional Centre, China from Shanghai Regional Centre and Latin America out of Mexico Regional Centre. A dedicated manager will be assigned to each territory to provide support in the areas of training, operations, marketing, franchising, technical and product knowledge.
Brand Equity Management
Branding is a critical aspect of the business to enhance the equity of V-KOOL network. The Franchisor has engaged Spinnaker360 since 1997 (then GMX Creative), for this function. Spinnaker360 reviews the branding requirements of V-KOOL and develops branding strategies throughout the year for implementation. Branding campaigns, marketing support materials (eg. Brochures, flyers, direct mailers, information CDs, etc) and collateral support systems (eg. Exhibition system, demonstration kits) created by the department are launched regularly to all Master Franchisees. An exclusive ‘image library’ tailored for the V-KOOL auto and architectural markets is also in progress so that Master Franchisees can acquire imagines for their specific use at a minimal cost.
Structured Training
Franchisees receive professional advice and support in setting up and operating the franchise. Newly joined franchisees are given an intensive 5-day Management Training and 10-day Installation Training conducted by specialized trainers. Training includes business planning, strategy formulation, model outlet set-up, inventory planning, marketing support and operations support. Continuous training is provided throughout the year when new modules/techniques are developed.
Brand & Operations Audit
Audits are conducted regularly at Franchisees premises to continuous improve the stores. A qualified Franchise Auditor will evaluate the performance of the Franchisees in the following areas: Branding, Sales & Marketing, Administration, Technical and House Keeping.
Technical Support
The R&D department is tasked to develop new products or processes to enhance the competitive edge of the Franchise. The recent inventions have resulted in new patents being filed and first-in-the-industry demonstration equipment developed. Energy audit calculation on energy saving and payback is also undertaken by the Research Scientist of the R&D department.

Why V-KOOL?
Several factors underpin the strong demand growth potential
of high performance window thin films. These include the global
warming phenomena resulting in the rise in temperatures, higher
risks of skin diseases from increased penetration of ultra-violet
radiation from the sun and new regulations in countries requiring
energy conservation measures in buildings. In Germany, a new
regulation introduced in 1995, requires buildings to have
a minimum level of thermal insulation for energy savings.
In Thailand, the government implemented the Demand Side Management
for energy consumption in which products like window films
are recognised as green technologies. Luxury car models in
Europe are incorporating such technologies in car windscreens
and windows. In most developed and developing countries, demand
in the automobile industry alone is expected to be strong.
World-wide, the market potential is tremendous. New car registrations number 50 million per year, adding to an existing car population of 650 million. Annual production of float glass is about 1,500 million square meters. Only about 7% of all glass are currently coated. The bulk of the production are ordinary float glass without any solar control features. The architectural and automotive after-market is estimated at 500 million square feet or 50 million square meters a year. The company believes that high performance clear solar shading would appeal to the high end of the market which constitutes 5% to10% of the total. The market potential for V-KOOL at the retail level, is estimated to be US$575 million per annum.

- You must have an existing network in the automotive trade, with good network and contacts with the car showrooms, auto-accessories after-market, windscreen replacement, window film or auto related businesses.
- You must have more than 5 retail stores; or
- You currently distribute to more than 5 retail stores in the automotive trade.
- You need to have a capital of at least US$500,000 to invest in the business.
- You must be prepared to give up selling other brands of window films if you are already marketing them.
- You must set up at least one corporate-own V-KOOL specialty retail store in each major State/Area.
- You must set up a professional management team to run this business
Area Package
- Preferably, you are already in the automotive trade.
- You must be committed to open a certain number of V-KOOL stores (no lesser than three in a given area), over a pre-determined time-frame. At least one of these stores must be corporate owned.
- You need to have a capital of at least US$250,000 to invest in the business.
- You must be prepared to give up selling other brands of window films if you are already marketing them.

- You must have an existing network in the architectural trade and track record in the construction sector, building materials suppliers market or strong links with the architect network.
- You must have a large customer base from the retail, commercial and hospitality industries.

- You must set up at least one corporate-own V-KOOL specialty retail store in each major State/Area.
- You must set up a professional management team to run this business.
