Overview
Smoothie Factory is a leader in today's juice and smoothie bar industry. Founded by an
Olympic athlete, we understand America's need for healthier options to
traditional fast food. We believe in the simple concept of providing
guests with reasonably priced smoothies, non fat frozen yogurt and other
healthy snacks served quickly, in attractive, clean, pleasant
surroundings every day. Since it's Carrollton, Texas beginnings over 14
years ago. Smoothie Factory has established over sixty-seven locations,
nationwide. Today Smoothie Factory is rapidly expanding nationally and
internationally. The Smoothie Factory brand has become recognized for
excellence in service, product, and value.

In addition, an unwavering commitment to value on nutritional products continues to be an ingredient in our recipe for success. In fact, we sell nutritional products too, for less, everyday, at 30%-50% of MSRP making our franchise community a leader in nutritional product sales.
Smoothie Factory Highlights
- Smoothies: Smoothie Factory uses all real fruits without concentrates or preservatives. Real blueberries, mangos, kiwis, etc.. It is a higher quality and more nutritious product.
- Frozen Yogurt: Smoothie Factory swirls authentic, fat free , tart and tangy frozen yogurt with fresh fruit and dry toppings.
- Nutritional Products: Smoothie Factory carries over $16K of nutritional product inventory that is value priced.
- Business Model: 2 distinct profit centers (food/beverage and nutritional products) leading to higher sales volume than the competition. Value pricing on nutritional products drives traffic which leads to increased sales of high margin smoothies and frozen yogurt.
- Low Start Up: Without sacrificing quality or aesthetics, Smoothie Factory aggressively finds the lowest price on all items. We accept no rebates or markups on any items in the build out. Franchise Owners are free to buy identical items through outside vendors if they can find better pricing.

Area Director Opportunities Available

As an Area Director, you own an exclusive territory which allows you to receive a share of franchise fees from franchises sold in the territory as well as ongoing royalties from franchisees that you support in your territory. This opportunity is for those that want an expanded role and larger income potential through franchising.
Are You a Good Fit for Smoothie Factory?

Smoothie Factory has implemented a new initiative called the Store Equity Program (SEP). Simply put, we secure a location, take over the lease, build the location and then transfer to your at an agreed upon price an operating unit – typically under $140k. We are able to reduce the cost by only seeking units that have value in the space, perhaps counters, seating, equipment and other features that can significantly reduce the cost to build out.
Don't qualify for traditional financing?
No need to worry. We offer internal financing on SEP units covering up to 70% of the purchase price for qualified buyers, which can range from $90K to $140K.
SEP Financing Requirements include:
- A 620 or higher credit score
- Investment capital equal to 30% of the purchase price
- $10-$15K of working capital
