Pre-Opening Projects
As a new SERVPRO franchisee, you will follow a step-by-step process to prepare to open your franchise. You will not spend your time needlessly researching what steps are needed to open a business. New owners follow an organized checklist guiding each step. New owners will also have the New Franchise Training Assistant and an assigned Trainer to answer any questions they may have.
National Training Center
What do you call a state-of-the-art training facility designed specifically for franchisees? The SERVPRO National Training Center. Each month, new franchisees attend the SERVPRO National Training Center. The SERVPRO National Training Center offers a comprehensive program that teaches you the basics, demonstrates proper techniques, and then guides you hands-on through each Key Result Area in a business. At SERVPRO, training is the heart of our system.

Are You a Good Fit for Servpro?

- Interview Franchisees - The best way to learn about the quality of a franchise system is to speak with current franchisees. Call at least five franchisees and visit at least two. It will provide you a realistic look at the opportunity.
- Visit the Franchisor's Headquarters - You should know what support the franchisor provides. Interview the franchisor's employees and see if there is an organized support effort. Most franchisors claim to have a comprehensive support system. Be sure you see what you’ve been told by the sales force.
- Analyze the Financial Stability of the Franchisor - If the highest source of revenue is franchise sales income, you should be concerned. A franchise must generate enough royalty revenue to maintain all company expenses. Otherwise, the franchisor is very vulnerable to problems. Also, note the equity in the company. A company should not be heavily in debt.
