flavors and the highest-quality chicken available. We offer a very
diverse menu including flame-broiled burgers, cheese steaks, gyros,
salads and a whole lot more. Our menu appeals to the whole family with
special selections for kids to choose.

Planet Wings isn’t operated by a remote mega corporation. Franco Fidanza, the founder of our company is still involved with the business every day. At Planet Wings we believe in owning and operating our own stores as well as franchising .We share the same benefits and deal with the same issues that you will have to deal with on a daily basis. Our confidence in the company can be witnessed by our continued store ownership and growth. We offer a complete package with a professional staff supporting it. From the time you start site selection until your store is open we will be with you every step of the way. Planet Wings was conceived in 1994 by founders
Franco and Paula Fidanza. They realized that there was an amazing
untapped opportunity in the fast food delivery market.
For the most part, delivery service was limited to pizza and burgers and was being provided by only a handful of restaurants. With the growing popularity of chicken wings, Franco & Paula decided the market was ready for a fast food concept that not only provided home delivery of their delicious chicken wings, but all their menu items… including cheese steaks, heroes, salads and kid’s meals.
The first Planet Wings® concept store opened in January 1995 and Franco and Paula haven’t looked back. They committed to using only the highest quality chicken available and to give their customers an incredible value for their money. They also offered 20 outrageous wing flavors (now 24) and prepared each customers meal fresh to order. Coupled with super convenient delivery service, Franco and Paula had discovered the recipe for success.
Franco and Paula spent the next couple of years perfecting the concept and now have stores throughout the greater NY metropolitan area and New Jersey. Here are also two stores under development in Virginia, marking their first development outside the tri-state area.

Training & Support
Our goal as a franchisor is to make sure that every Planet Wings
franchisee has the support necessary to be as successful as possible.
To this end we are building a staff of professionals that have years of
industry experience in multi-unit restaurant management, sales, product
development, and distribution.Success begins with quality training. Our comprehensive two-week training school will give you an opportunity to learn everything necessary to operate your restaurant. You will actually work each position in an operating Planet Wings as well as learn from detailed classroom instruction.
Our operations staff will be there with you during your opening and be available as necessary to consult with you on any issues that arise. We will regularly review your business with you to ensure that your store is operating at the level of our other franchises.
Our success is dependent on yours.
Are You a Good Fit for Planet Wings?
A Single store requires a net worth of $250,000. The franchisee
also must have the ability to provide liquid assets, cash or
financing--or a combination of any of these sources--totaling $250,000
- $350,000 per store.
Area development requires a net worth minimum of $500,000 and the ability to finance the entire project outlined in the franchisee's plan.
A master franchisee must have a net worth of $1,000,000 and all necessary development and operating capital.
An average Planet Wings restaurant costs between $250,000 and $350,000 to open. An average Planet Wings store is between 1200 and 1800 sq.ft. although we have some as large as 2500 sq.ft.
If you don't meet the financial requirements it is acceptable for you to partner with someone who does. A financial statement and resume must be provided for each member of your group.
