Overview
Some things improve with age; some things are proven perfect as they
age. So it is with the authentic recipes brought from Italy to Boston
in 1936 by the family of Papa Gino’s founder.
These same recipes were used when a small pizzeria – Piece O’Pizza – opened in Boston. It became the place to go for quality pizza with a unique flavor. In 1968, the little pizzeria became a larger restaurant. The name was changed to Papa Gino’s. Additional restaurants were opened in the Boston area. And the pizza’s popularity topped all others in the area.
In the 40 years since the first Papa Gino’s opened we’ve become the Northeast’s premier Italian restaurant chain in the Quick Service Restaurant industry. Our more than 170 stores are visited by 1.1 million people monthly.
Through the years we’ve introduced new and delicious products like salads and subs. Pockets and pasta. And popular specialty pizzas.
Today, we’re adding something else to our offerings: exciting franchise opportunities. Become a Papa Gino’s franchisee and be part of our continued growth and success.

Our menu offerings stay true to the Italian family recipes brought from Italy to Boston in 1936 by the family of the original founder of Papa Gino’s.
Variety In Our Offerings
Through the years we’ve introduced many new products to our guests. Salads. Subs. Pockets. Pastas. And popular specialty pizzas. Our delicious menu has stood the ‘ taste’ of time – it’s why we have a large and loyal customer base that keeps growing. But we’re always working on new and innovative products that will meet ever-changing customer demands and drive sales to your business.
