In 1987, Jack and his wife, Marcy, moved to Charlotte and established Maintenance World (now a Mint Condition franchisee). Mint Condition and its franchisees are committed to satisfying customers with attention to detail, reliability and responsiveness. Headquartered in Charlotte, Mint Condition serves building owners in North and South Carolina. We are an integral part of the fast growing, $60 billion commercial cleaning industry. The U.S. Department of Labor projects the janitorial field will be one of the fastest-growing segments of the economy, approaching $90 billion in sales by 2010.
At Mint Condition, we meet these demands with the same values and commitment to service that has characterized our company since it began.
While our services are individually customized to meet a client's specific needs, we often perform the following services:
- Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors
- Sanitize restrooms, clean fixtures and mirrors, restock paper products, soap, etc.
- Clean and disinfect water fountains
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Dust window blinds
- Dust desktops, cabinets, shelving, etc and vacuum upholstered furniture
- Periodic work such as deep cleaning carpets, and tile floor maintenance (including stripping, scrubbing and buffing floors.)
Training & Support
Mint Condition makes it easy for you to be
successful by taking care of many of the non-cleaning issues. In fact,
much of the work involved in operating a commercial cleaning service is
done for you, allowing you to concentrate on your customers. Our
support services include:- Obtaining cleaning accounts
- Handling the billings and collections on the account
- Purchasing and administering the majority of your insurance policies (optional)
- Conducting quality assurance programs
- Furnishing your initial equipment and supply packages
- Obtaining additional accounts for you, if desired
- Managing an account replacement program that will find you a new cleaning account if yours is lost through no fault of your own.
We also assist you with startup and ongoing training and provide you with a detailed operating manual to help ensure your jobs function smoothly. In short, we take care of all these things so you are free to focus on the activity that makes money, namely, providing cleaning services!
Once you are established, Mint Condition can train and certify you in additional profit centers to help you grow your business. These include carpet cleaning, tile floor maintenance, and window cleaning. Additional support and training is available to let you hire additional personnel and learn how to sell on your own in order to further expand your business.
