Overview
Founded in 1986, Golf USA® has grown to over 100 stores in 32 states
and 11 foreign countries. Our Golf USA® team has
extensive retail and golf experience and can provide
you with a solid foundation on which to build your
own golf store.

Training & Support
You might not know the difference between a forged or a cast club and
maybe you've never been in retail sales; however, through GOLF USA'S
specialized training program, you will learn product knowledge,
merchandising, buying and pricing, accounting and salesmanship. You
will receive hands-on experience in our corporate stores. Experienced
instructors head training sessions at our national headquarters. Our
store development team will be in your store prior to opening to help
put your new knowledge into practical and productive use.
By pooling resources into a cooperative advertising fund, GOLF USA® store owners reap the rewards of quality products at lower costs. Few independent retailers could afford the quality, effectiveness and scope of materials that are provided to you as a participant in the GOLF USA® co-operative advertising fund. Included in the materials your ad fund provides are television spots, direct mail pieces, radio scripts, seasonal in-store signage and point of purchase display and Camera-ready art for newspaper advertising. A Golf USA® newsletter is produced to keep you informed and current with what's happening with the ad fund and in GOLF USA® stores nationwide. Additionally, the marketing team will advise you on pre-opening and grand opening marketing and advertising activities--another service provided to help your store get off to a great start. After your store opens, assistance is available to help you develop and implement effective marketing plans and strategies.

The GOLF USA® support team is committed to providing the assistance you need to get your business off to a smooth start and keep it performing productively. Before your opening, we will help you train your staff, stock and display your original inventory, and recommend advertising programs to enhance your market presence.
As a GOLF USA® store owner, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other franchisees at our annual meeting. This meeting provides a forum for discussing topics of particular interest to our franchisees. In addition, you'll benefit from attending name brand vendor exhibits, seminars, and workshops designed to improve your operations, marketing, and sales, as well as hearing guest speakers with new ideas and management techniques that can enhance the overall performance of your store. We believe the support provided by our many services and benefit programs is much greater in the GOLF USA® system than in any other golf retail franchise. We are dedicated to the success of your store!

Golf USA has a "net worth" requirement minimum of $300,000 and access
to at least $100,000 liquid capital to invest in the store. Sources of
