59 Farmer BoysŪ restaurants are operating throughout Southern as well as Central California, with several more sites currently under construction.

The Farmer's Burger, for instance, was not only voted the Best Burger by Inland Empire Magazine, but was also named the best burger in Southern California by KCBS-TV in Los Angeles. Other award winners include our deep-fried zucchini and our monster-sized onion rings, which were tabbed by one news reporter as the "lord of the rings." In addition, Farmer BoysŪ beat out a number of national chains to win the Press-Enterprise "Gold Medal" as Southern California's best fast casual restaurant.

Founded in 1981,
Farmer Boys® restaurants have grown to become a Southern California
icon. Our menu features more than 75 freshly-prepared items including
award-winning burgers, specialty sandwiches, freshly-made salads,
and signature side items such as fried zucchini and monster-sized
onion rings. Made-to-order breakfasts include omelets, French toast,
pancakes, and breakfast burritos. All this is served in cozy, friendly
surroundings that call to mind the charm and comfort of a rural,
farm home.
Training & Support

SITE SELECTION / LEASE NEGOTIATION
Site selection for all Farmer Boys® fastaurants is subject to approval by Farmer Boys Food, Inc. In many cases, the company or an affiliate may be able to assist you in finding the best location in your area for a franchise. Farmer Boys Food, Inc. or its affiliate may also purchase the land and lease it to you for development.
BEGINNERS TO EXPERTS TRAINING
We want to help you meet or exceed your expectations of being a franchisee. Farmer Boys Food, Inc. is here to teach you, train you and guide you in your endeavor. Utilizing proven methods and approaches, it will provide intense training, covering the business and food service sides of franchising a proven concept. Final training on menu items, preparation and presentation must be completed prior to opening, Farmer Boys Food, Inc. representatives will work with you and your employees to prepare for the restaurants grand opening.
STANDARDS AND OPERATIONS MANUAL
You will receive the official Farmer Boys® Franchise operations manual, which details the entire Farmer Boys® system in reference tool format.
ONGOING CONSULTATIONS
To keep you abreast of industry and franchise issues, Farmer Boys Food, Inc. holds meetings and seminars. In addition, a consultant will be making periodic visits to your location to assess the franchise in relation to the system standards and to assist you with any questions, concerns or ideas you may have.
ON-CALL ASSISTANCE
No more than a phone call away, Farmer Boys Food, Inc. is available to help you with issues great and small.

We feel we have some of the best price negotiators in the business, and this enables us to buy better and stronger than can an individual restaurant owner. The savings you will enjoy may well offset a significant portion of your franchise royalty fee.

Farmer Boys
Foods, Inc. offers individual start-up franchises for family-oriented,
quick service restaurants. FARMER BOYS® Restaurants offer carry-out and
drive-through service as well as on-premises dining, serving breakfast,
lunch, and dinner. Our food is made from scratch and we specialize in
freshly-cooked, made-to-order hamburgers while offering a number of
other foods and beverages. Farmer Boys also grants options for
development and operation of multiple units within defined geographic
territories under area development agreements
The initial franchise fee is $45,000. This fee helps cover the substantial cost of giving you business opening assistance, initial training, and other support and franchise development services during the start-up period.
We estimate that your initial investment to establish a FARMER BOYS® Restaurant will range from $494,354 to $702,269. This includes the initial franchise fee, working capital, and other expenses, assuming you will lease the land and own building and equipment. To qualify, you will need approximately $350,000 in liquid assets and a $750,000 net worth, not including the value of your home.
