With many locations coast to coast and 17 years of experience in the tanning industry, you can feel comfortable tanning at our beautiful facilities while doing it at very affordable rates!
Executive Tans is well known for our state of the art tanning equipment, our very clean upscale environment, and our fast and friendly team. Our locations feature multiple levels of tanning equipment to satisfy all skin types . They also carry the finest indoor tanning lotions to enhance your tan and provide high quality skincare. Many of our locations also feature the very popular UV-Free tanning.

Headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado, Executive Tans® was founded in 1991 with 3 locations. Over the next 10 years ET grew to 27 locations in the Denver market and had established buying relationships with leading Vendors and Manufacturers. In late 2001, ET began a national growth campaign.

In addition to industry leading tanning beds and lotions, you will have the option to offer other top industry related products and services to your consumers. Swimwear and clothing, sunglasses, jewelry, and teeth whitening are a few of these concepts. You as the owner will have the opportunity to participate in the selection of items offered to your clients.
Training & Support
Training & Support
Prior to opening your Tanning Salon, you will come to Lakewood, CO and complete the Executive Tans® University Program where you will learn the larger aspects of running your business. From sales techniques, business basics, through SmartTan certification, you will be provided the information and knowledge needed to address your customer’s needs and begin operating your tanning salon. Once open, you will have full contact with live corporate support through your assigned Franchise Manager, and Internet access to our private franchisee website, and much more!
Site Location & Lease Negotiation Assistance
With 17 years of experience, Executive Tans® has gained extensive knowledge in the art of lease negotiations. With our national brand name and buying power, our team along with third party vendors, will assist each franchisee in: assessing demographics, customer profiling for the area that you want to be in, and helping define potential locations for your review. Once this is complete, Executive Tans® will also help you and your broker to negotiate your lease. ET will create a personalized letter of intent that may assist you in receiving free rent, tenant improvement allowances, and other landlord related benefits. ET utilizes proven techniques that often provide the franchisee with significant savings on there lease.
Salon Build Out Assistance
Once you have chosen your location and negotiated a lease, the construction process of your salon begins! Executive Tans, through third party vendors, assists our franchise partner in selecting General Contractor(s), Architects, wall systems, equipment, and furnishings. FC Dadson manufactures a proprietary modular wall system for Executive Tans, and also assists you in designing a floor plan tailored to your site. From Blue Prints, Permitting, and Construction, our team assists you with your immediate Tanning Salon needs as well as expandability for your future growth. You will find that the Executive Tans® store design and layout is attractive, expandable, and economically efficient in the industry.
Custom Financing Options
By assisting you in reviewing your start-up capitol, management experience and personal credit, Executive Tans® will provide some financial options, however it is ultimately your decisions as to which financing options will work best for you. Some programs available to qualified franchisees include equipment revenue sharing, lease programs and other third party financing.
Marketing & Promotions
By capitalizing on your local marketing dollars, you will be able to make use of pre-developed marketing and advertising programs geared specifically for your salon and your consumers.

Why Executive Tans?
The Industry
As independent tanning salons emerged in the late 80’s and early 90’s, the Tanning Industry exploded as young men and women (18- 24) rushed through doors of tanning salons across the country. Growth in the industry has continued to escalate over the past 17 years bringing it out of infancy where today it has grown to a 5 billon dollar industry, with approximately 25,000 independent tanning salons across the country.
