what many restaurants don't - two experiences under one roof - a casual
dining restaurant and a sports bar.
Our restaurants offer a casual dining atmosphere with more than 100 menu items including a unique selection of gourmet pizzas, mouth-watering pastas and a wide variety of appetizers, meal-sized salads, entrees and desserts. The restaurant is perfect for families, teams and groups of all ages and the sports bars feature sports memorabilia, big screen TV’s and games in a contemporary setting. These are the attributes that keep our Guests coming back again and again.

Products & Services

The Boston Pizza restaurant provides for "two experiences under one
roof", with a full service, family friendly casual dining restaurant
and a separate sports bar. Most restaurants also have an outdoor patio
to accommodate guests during the warmer months. A typical restaurant is
5,500 to 6,500 square feet and has seating for 180 to 225 guests inside
with another 50 to 75 seats on the patio.

Training & Support

They then complete an intensive ten-day Business Management Program, known as Boston Pizza College at Boston Pizza’s Corporate Office in Richmond, British Columbia. This training program provides an unparalleled level of support to franchise operators.
The operations team consists of Trainers and Field Service Managers who help the Franchisees and their team, to understand the critical success factors of the Boston Pizza system. Specific areas addressed are: adherence to established Boston Pizza systems, standards, practices, and programs; Guest service and satisfaction; sales growth training seminars; and prime cost control including budget seminars.
Franchising professionals play a critical role in our new business development program by identifying new market opportunities and qualified Franchisee candidates for these new restaurants. They facilitate the candidate’s approval process from initial investigation of the franchise through execution of the Franchise Agreement.
The real estate team consists of in-house professionals who look for free-standing building development opportunities in high traffic areas. Our process addresses the needs of both single unit operators as well as area developers, to ensure that each Boston Pizza Franchisee gets the best site available at the lowest cost.
All projects are assigned a Construction Project Manager who reviews and supports the Franchisee during the store opening process. Included are: the tender review and award, construction start-up meeting, development process, site review and final inspection.

Recognizing this, we will continue to expand the tactical LSM programs that enable franchisees to address specific opportunities in their markets.
Labour cost and inventory modules within the system provide valuable solutions for managing prime costs and increasing our competitive edge.

Required Investment:
In order to become a part of the Boston Pizza franchise team, prospective franchisees pay an initial franchise fee Western Canada - $60,000; Eastern Canada - $60,000; Quebec - $60,000; and a total start up cost of between $1.6 million and $2 million, depending on the size of the restaurant and its location.
Potential franchisee or investor group should have a minimum of $600,000 cash to invest.
- Necessary capital investment and/or financial requirements
- Manpower commitments including management personnel to be trained
- Business experience in the local market where you are seeking a franchise
- Willingness to adhere to the Boston Pizza system
- A strong desire to succeed, work hard and be part of a winning team
