started out with biscuits, eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, gravy and
all of the items that go with a hearty, home cooked breakfast. We
recently expanded our menu to include other items for noontime and
evening meals. Our theme doesn’t change, and the later meals are also
made fresh daily. We think our menu provides for a quality, yet simple
and inexpensive presentation that can thrive in any economy. Training & Support Tudor's
Biscuit World will provide plans and specifications to build the store. It's your
responsibility to obtain necessary financing. Or you may elect to lease
rather than buy, having the landowner bear the construction costs. We will provide a standard equipment layout and equipment list once a store model is chosen. Tudor's Biscuit World Equipment Purchasing Department, or any other source which handles the approved equipment, may be utilized. We'll teach you how to run the business. No organization - including Tudor's Biscuit World - can guarantee your success. But our research has shown that knowledge about business operations (plus sufficient capital) is essential. Tudor's Biscuit World has developed a complete range of programs designed to enhance your chances of success. It starts with an extensive training and orientation program which exposes you to the various major aspects of store operation. You will be trained on-site in one of our many progressive Tudor's Biscuit World Restaurants. Our goal is training owners, operators and managers to be "total managers"; to successfully run a "Tudor's Biscuit World" restaurant at peak efficiency and to get "top dollar" return for the money you've invested. We teach proper preparation and serving of all our products, counter etiquette, suggestive selling, financial management, personnel management, marketing, merchandising, and equipment operation and maintenance. During training, you will receive a general course explaining the basics of media placement and how effectively to spend your own advertising dollars. The Franchisee Advertising Program maintains an office at Tudor's Biscuit World corporate headquarters to render assistance and prepare reports. PROFESSIONAL ADVERTISING MATERIALS - High-quality advertising materials are available for your television, radio, and direct mail use. All items are designed to promote a strong, uniform image for your Tudor's Biscuit World operation. CHOICE OF MEDIA PLACEMENT PROGRAMS - Depending on the size of the market, and the direction of its owners, media selection can be handled by the market ad representative. There is, in some instances, an option to place media for their own stores themselves. PARTICIPATION IN DECISION-MAKING - The Tudor's Biscuit World Advertising Program is run by a group comprised solely of Tudor's Biscuit World franchisees. This volunteer group is elected by Tudor's Biscuit World franchisees in an annual election. The group meets bi-annually to discuss programs and procedures.
