Poll customers and you'll hear things like large, plump and golden, pleasingly sweet on the somewhat crisp outside, then tender, moist and warm inside with enough of a buttery flavor to make your mouth water in anticipation of the next bite. Training & Support We begin with a comprehensive training program conducted both on-site at a LaMar's Donuts training store and in a classroom setting either within a store or in the LaMar's corporate headquarters. As a franchisee, you will receive hands-on training, and you will work directly with all phases of operation, learning how to make each variety of donut, how to run the store and keep the books, how to hire personnel, and how to provide LaMar's unique brand of personal customer service. We will also cover retail merchandising (how to most effectively display your product lines) and decor (how to create LaMar's Donuts' unparalleled atmosphere). We'll show you how to select the right site for your store. Then, we'll provide you with guidelines for transforming the site into your own distinctive store. To augment your training, we provide an invaluable daily reference to refresh your memory and help in employee training: the LaMar's Donuts Confidential Operating Manual, a comprehensive document outlining virtually every aspect of the business. It guides you through each phase of business operation, telling you everything you need to know to run the store. The operating manual includes management and accounting procedures, hiring and personnel policies, and daily operations procedures, such as opening and closing the store, and how to make our one-of-a-kind donuts. Interaction continues in areas like advertising and promotions, public relations, and quality control. We'll assist you in planning and designing your Grand Opening celebration to get your new store off to a great start. Once people discover what LaMar's Donuts has to offer, they'll be back. To further those chances of solidifying the repeat customer base, we offer advertising and promotional support and guidance as a continuing part of the LaMar's franchise program. We'll stay in close touch throughout the start-up process. As your business grows, we'll be available for ongoing consultation and support. And we always welcome your questions, comments and suggestions. Are You a Good Fit for Lamar's Donuts? The franchise fee is $28,500, payable at the time the Franchise Agreement is signed. The income can vary greatly based on the operator, hours of operation, size of unit, location, and methods of operation. We are prohibited from making earnings projections for franchised units, but can provide company financials for your review and analysis. Also, a list of franchisees will be made available for you to contact. We encourage those franchisees who are qualified to open multiple locations. Based on your application and financial information, you may be eligible to purchase more than one franchise up front. You may want to purchase a franchise, become familiar with the business, and then purchase your second or third franchise. One of the advantages of joining a relatively new franchise program is that choice markets are still available. You may designate where you wish to locate, so long as the location you select meets the LaMar's Donuts population and demographic criteria and does not infringe upon any LaMar's Donuts business. |
