We operate and franchise education-based child care learning centers throughout the United States.
Since 1981, Kiddie Academy® has developed and continues to develop operating systems, methodologies and curriculums designed to meet or exceed the high professional standards and uniformity necessary today to open and operate a first class, licensed child care/education facility in this highly regulated industry.

Products & Services
The lesson plan for creating and maintaining high quality child care academies starts with our free-flowing floor plan design and our state-of-the-art safety features and equipment. Kiddie Academy has developed a comprehensive set of systems and methodologies regarding operating, business management and quality control procedures which enable it to maintain uniform, high quality standards in all of its company-owned Academies and throughout the Kiddie Academy® Franchise System. These procedures and methodologies, which are compiled in a series of Manuals, were developed by Kiddie Academy and are based upon our decades of experience in the child care industry. All of the Kiddie Academy® Manuals are continually revised and updated. At the heart of the early learning blueprint is The Kiddie Academy® Curriculum. Kiddie Academy has developed a comprehensive education-based child care program for its Academies that is designed to respond to the increasing demand for child care. Each Kiddie Academy® location utilizes a state-of-the-art, age-appropriate, education-based curriculum designed to promote each child's intellectual, social, physical and emotional growth. Kiddie Academy® locations incorporate a number of features designed to promote and support The Kiddie Academy® Curriculum. In addition to interactive learning aids and toys, many Kiddie Academy® locations include an area called "Kid's Towne USA," which is a miniature town comprised of child-sized buildings such as a post office, grocery store, library and restaurant built inside the Academy.
Training & Support
Curriculum
Enrolled children are taught through our own proprietary curriculums. These curriculums are developed by our in-house team of educators, are child-led/directed, teacher guided, developmentally appropriate fro specific ages, and meet or exceed all state and industry standards. Operational Suppor
By design we keep our franchisee to staff ratio low, both by industry standards and by franchising standards in general. Our franchisees get a lot of quality support. Our operational support team members have advanced degrees and are well-grounded professionally in this industry. You are assigned a Franchise Business Consultant who coordinates all of your support from all the various corporate departments such as education, training, marketing, finance, and development. Your consultant also makes routine visits to your academy throughout the year for additional analysis, training, quality assurance, and feedback.
Training
Kiddie Academy® provides franchise owner(s) all the in-depth training necessary to open, staff, license, and operate a high quality, education-based child care center. The owner training program consists of two full weeks of training at our corporate offices and in the field at a corporate location in Bel Air, MD, plus an additional week of training once your academy opens for business. We also provide the initial training for your academy director, and have many on-going training programs for directors, teachers, and other staff

Kiddie Academy® marketing and advertising programs begin to take shape even before you start construction. You are intimately involved with the development of a plan to meet your particular academy's needs and market, including the pre-opening promotions and advertising, local PR campaigns, and grand opening celebrations. Once open, your academy has access to all of the on-line collateral support materials, direct mail programs, creative advertising files, and on-going national/regional campaigns to help grow your customer base and solidify customer retention and referral business.

Your total investment can range between $350K for a leased center to $3.3 Million for a free-standing fully equipped academy that you own outright, including the land. Our in-house staff of Real Estate and Construction professionals and our relationships with lending institutions allows us to help our franchisees accommodate a wide variety of site location and building types.
