Training & Support![]() As a new franchisee, you will participate in one of the most
comprehensive training programs in the industry. You will start by
attending 3 weeks of comprehensive classroom training that covers
coffee and tea, our menu, managing a successful café, human resources,
and much more. Upon completion, you'll spend an additional 3 weeks in
your market (whenever possible) working directly in a café. Prior to
opening your doors, we will help train your staff and assist you in all
aspects of opening your store. All throughout the franchise process, you will have the ongoing support and expertise of our staff. This comes in many forms of assistance: site selection, lease negotiation, business plan format and wording, build out and equipment recommendations, etc...Once open, you then have access to numerous support programs ranging from quarterly visits, mystery shops, customer surveys, our Franchise Resource Center and many other things, including ongoing contact with our staff and support team. Why Biggby Coffee? Choose Your Own Site As a BIGGBY COFFEE franchisee you will work directly with our Real Estate Manager who will assist you in securing a proper store location, negotiating a lease and occupancy terms. BIGGBY will do an "in market" evaluation of your area before the site selection process even begins. You will receive this demographic data on the area as well as have access to our site selection form. These tools coupled with your knowledge will assist you/us in identifying the best possible property. As a franchisee, we will help take your store from the drawing table all the way to your Grand Opening. There are a number of architects and contractors we work with and can refer you to. A typical BIGGBY café is 1,200 – 1,500 square foot suites, within high visibility, high traffic strip centers. Many now include drive-thru service; a growing industry trend. Promotions Keep Customers Coming Back BIGGBY COFFEE has an annual promotions calendar for in-store marketing of beverages, food items and merchandise - all designed to grab your customer's attention. BIGGBY also designs and develops advertising materials for direct mail, billboards and print media, as well as radio commercials. BIGGBY's Marketing Department is also available to answer questions, assist you through your Grand Opening and help design and develop custom programs to expand your customer base and increase your sales. Are You a Good Fit for Biggby Coffee? The average cost to open a BIGGBY COFFEE Franchise today is
approximately $250,000. (This is based on opening in a 1,200-1,500
square foot strip center). A royalty of 5% of net sales is paid monthly. These fees provide you
with ongoing support through product and menu development, ongoing
training, in-store inspections, mystery shopping, financial analysis,
inventory assistance, our toll-free hotline, as well as extensive
e-mail and online resources. An Advertising Fee of up to 3% (currently
2%) covers the production of advertising materials (radio, print,
billboards, and in-store merchandising), as well as Marketing
Department Support. Media buys are planned by the Marketing Department
